Welcome to the Data Coordination Center for the U.S. Antarctic Program
The goals of the USAP-DCC are to help scientists find Antarctic scientific data of interest and to help them submit data for long term preservation in accordance with their obligations under the NSF Office of Polar Programs (OPP) Data Policy.
RECENT NEWS
03/2008 - Reorganized data sets per NSF OPP programs.
01/2008 - Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica (LIMA) basemap added - service provided by Antarctic Geospatial Information Center (AGIC).
12/2007 - New Web site launched at Fall AGU meeting.
Use the map to find existing data sets. The upper-left buttons control pan and zoom, and the upper-right "+" button selects basemaps and overlays. Click on a red marker to pop up a list of the data set(s) at that location, with links to metadata.
Note: Map uses OpenLayers with WMS/WFS data sources.
